Ramp Closures Scheduled for Next Week
MERCED COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following ramp closures next week on State Route-99 (SR-99) for the Merced 99 Pavement Rehabilitation construction project. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

Motorists are urged to use extra caution and slow down to a maximum speed of 45 MPH in construction zones where barricaded and split lanes are in place.

- Alternating lane closure on southbound SR-99 from Franklin Slough to Colony Slough for construction beginning Monday, April 1, through Friday, April 5, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Alternating lane closure on northbound SR-99 from Colony Slough to Franklin Slough for construction beginning Monday, April 1, through Friday, April 5, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Full on and off-ramp closures on southbound SR-99 at Childs Avenue Over-Crossing for construction beginning Monday, April 1, through Friday, April 5, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Full on and off-ramp closures on northbound SR-99 at Childs Avenue Over-Crossing for construction beginning Monday, April 1, through Friday, April 5, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
