Ramp Closures Scheduled for Next Week
MERCED COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following ramp closures next week on State Route-99 (SR-99) for the Merced 99 Pavement Rehabilitation construction project. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

- Full on and off-ramp closures on southbound SR-99 at Childs Avenue Over-Crossing for construction beginning Sunday, April 14, through Friday, April 19, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Full on and off-ramp closures on northbound SR-99 at Childs Avenue Over-Crossing for construction beginning Sunday, April 14, through Friday, April 19, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Full on and off-ramp closures on southbound SR-99 at SR-140/East Separation for construction beginning Sunday, April 14, through Friday, April 19, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Full on and off-ramp closures on northbound SR-99 at SR-140/East Separation for construction beginning Sunday, April 14, through Friday, April 19, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

- Full on-ramp closure on northbound SR-99 at SR-140/59 (V Street) for construction beginning Sunday, April 14, through Friday, April 19, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Full on and off-ramp closures on southbound SR-99 at 16th Street Under-Crossing for construction beginning Sunday, April 14, through Friday, April 19, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Full on ramp closure on northbound SR-99 at 16th Street Under-Crossing for construction beginning Sunday, April 14, through Friday, April 19, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
