Budden Canyon Overlay Project on State Route 36 in Tehama County

The Project:

The Budden Canyon Overlay Project will provide pavement preservation on State Route 36 in Tehama County near Platina, from 3.3 miles west of Vestal Road to 2.3 miles east of Dry Creek Bridge.

Project Includes:

The project will provide a thin hot mix asphalt overlay with areas of concrete dig outs on SR 36 in the project area. The project will also include shoulder backing, updating guardrail to meet current standards, and the removal and replacement of thermoplastic markings and striping.

Current Project Schedule:

There are an estimated 30 working days for this project, all of which will require traffic control.  Construction is currently scheduled for 2024.
