Deer Creek Overlay Project on State Route 32 in Tehama County

The Project:

The Deer Creek Overlay Project will provide pavement preservation on State Route 32 in Tehama County approximately 33 miles east of Forest Ranch, from 0.5 mile west of Slate Creek Bridge to the junction with State Route 36.

Project Includes:

The project will replace asphalt surfacing with areas of dig outs and provide a thin hot mix asphalt overlay on SR 32 in the project area. The project will also include shoulder backing, upgrading guardrail to meet current standards, removal and replacement of thermoplastic markings and striping, and pavement mill and fill at bridge approaches.

Current Project Schedule:

There are an estimated 25 working days for this project, all of which will require traffic control.  Construction is currently scheduled for 2024.
