Announcements
- Beginning March 12, 2012, pavement work on the Golden State Freeway (I-5) in Kern County will lead to lane closures, and the long-term closure of the southbound Frazier Mountain Park Road off-ramp. For more information regarding this closure, please click here.
- Construction activities on I-5 near Bakersfield has reduced traffic lanes. Motorists will experience delays while travelling along I-5 through August, 2012, and are encouraged to use alternate routes. For more information regarding this closure, please click here or visit the District 6 website.
- The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) wants your input for their Regional Transportation Plan. To learn more about the RTP, and view a draft of this document, please click here.
- As part of the Ventura Freeway (US 101) pavement improvement projects, intermittent lane and ramp closures are scheduled to take place along US 101 in Ventura County. For project information, please click here.
- The California Transportation Commission (CTC) has allocated $253million in new transportation funding to drive economic growth and upgrade the state's transportation system.
