  • Governor Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 892 on October 6, 2011, extending Caltrans' waiver of sovereign immunity until January 1, 2017. The waiver provides for Caltrans' continued participation in both the Section 6005 NEPA Delegation Pilot Program and Section 6004 Categorical Exclusion (CE) Assignment Program.
  • Caltrans and FHWA have signed NEPA Assignment MOU, to extend the program to October 1, 2012.
