CAREER EXECUTIVE ASSIGNMENTS IN CALTRANS

Career Executive Assignments are appointments to high administrative and policy-influencing positions for which the primary responsibility is the managing of a function or rendering of management advice to top level administrative authority.

Caltrans is recruiting for the executive management positions listed below. To apply for any of these positions you must submit a State Application form 678, and a Statement of Qualifications. A resume will not be accepted in lieu of a Statement of Qualifications.

What is a Statement of Qualifications?
Each job announcement contains screening criteria which explains the minimum qualifications for the position. A Statement of Qualifications is a discussion of the candidate’s education and experience that would qualify him/her for this position, related to the evaluation criteria. The statement should be no more than two pages in length.
